Deep Rest Retreat

Deep Rest Retreat

A retreat focused on down-regulating our nervous system –  29th Jan – 2nd Feb 2020

Ever dreamed about what it would feel like to experience the deep restful state of a hibernating bear?

Join us for an opportunity to experience deep rest together with nature within a nurturing environment. Our intention is to help guide you in downregulating from the stress of everyday life; coming together not only for deep rest but to examine your relationship to rest. You will leave feeling deeply refreshed with the building blocks for resourcing yourself and creating resilience in your life.

Humans are expected to remain productive throughout the year going against the seasonal rhythms of nature. Winter invites us to slow down and go within. When the weather turns cold, the days are shorter, our bodies yearn to do less, rest more and collect ourselves. This is a time for building up our internal stores and strength for the year ahead.

Some of the tools and practices we will be working with:

– Guided meditation
– Forest Bathing
– Embodied Yoga
– Yoga Nidra & Super Sleep Yoga
– Mindful walking
– Sound-healing

“I came back so calm and serene and positive. I do think something has changed within me.”

– Nick (2018 participant)
